KSA Performing Arts is a performing arts academy based in Beckenham, Kent that delivers musical theatre training to students aged 18+. After running its course for five years, KSA approached us to increase its student intake, market share and brand awareness in the industry. We began with a preliminary marketing plan by developing a new corporate identity through rebranding top-to-bottom. This included a new logo, corporate colours and marketing materials.
KSA was impressed with the outcome and agreed for us to launch a full marketing and public relations strategy to support its brand development including:
Incorporating the rebrand, we designed and built a new website for the academy to provide information about the school and its courses. We structured the website to highlight key selling points such as alumni destinations, performance opportunities and faculty. In addition, we built a data-capture form on the home page for potential students to quickly complete in order to receive an invitation to the next upcoming audition.
We provided ongoing media support, successfully gaining press coverage in industry and local publications, such as The Stage (online and print), The Newshopper, Guardian Croydon, Bromley Times and BR3.
We launched a strategic social media campaign to promote upcoming audition dates and events. Within five months, we organically increased its number of Twitter followers by over 250%. We also launched a blog to act as a hub of information for aspiring performing arts students.
We managed printed and online advertising in industry publications, websites and directories. We also created an e-marketing campaign to target career advisors at secondary schools.
